Itinerary

Tour Details​

Day 1Sigiriya

Upon arriving at Bandaranaike International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and accompany you to Sigiriya. In the afternoon, explore the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, an ancient stronghold built by King Kasyapa in the 5th century AD, and climb to the top for breathtaking views.

Travel to Polonnaruwa and explore its ancient city, including the Gal Vihara Complex. Admire the impressive ruins of the grand garden city built by King Parakramabahu. An optional jeep safari in Minneriya National Park or a village tour in Sigiriya is also available.

After breakfast, visit the Golden Cave Temple in Dambulla, then head to Kandy to explore the Temple of the Tooth Relic, which houses Buddha’s sacred tooth. We will also pay for the visit to view the Tooth Relic. In the afternoon, enjoy the Kandyan Cultural Show.

Travel to Nuwara Eliya, the highest city in Sri Lanka, stopping along the way at Ramboda Waterfalls, a tea plantation, and a tea factory known for its world-famous Ceylon Tea. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Start with an early morning visit to Horton Plains National Park, where you'll walk 5 km through a scenic landscape. Afterward, enjoy a city tour of the beautiful Nuwara Eliya, including a stop at the serene Gregory Lake.

Take a morning train from Nanu Oya Railway Station on a scenic journey to Ella, where the driver will meet you at the station. In the afternoon, visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge. Spend the rest of the day exploring Ella Town, a popular tourist destination.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning hike to Mini Adam’s Peak, which has the highest oxygen level density in South Asia. You can also take an optional half-kilometer zip line ride. The rest of the day is yours to explore, and spend the night in the famous Ella Town.

Continue your journey to Yala National Park, where you'll enjoy a guided jeep safari in the afternoon. Known for having the highest leopard density in the world, you have a chance to see elephants, sloth bears, spotted deer, and over 225 bird species in Yala National Park

After breakfast, head to Galle, the major city on the south coast. Explore the historic Galle Fort and visit the Dutch Hospital shopping complex, a great spot to pick up souvenirs.

Overnight stay in Unawatuna.

Spend the day at leisure in Unawatuna, enjoying the famous Unawatuna Beach. You can try surfing, snorkeling, or simply relax and sunbathe on the sandy shores. In the evening, enjoy beach parties and various night activities.

Take a boat ride along the Madhu River and visit the Turtle Hatchery, a key turtle nesting site. Spend the rest of the day relaxing near Hikkaduwa Beach. An optional whale-watching tour can also be arranged.
